Therapy: Sites to Visit
Ask Siggy...
Ask Siggy is a question and answer site managed by an interdisciplinary
group of therapists.
Choose a response from the list. What do you think of the professional's
advice? Would you propose anything different? What orientation do you think
the professional follows? How does this affect the advice they give? (Be
sure to identify the question on which you are commenting in the discussion
group). 1 2 3
Cognitive Therapy: A Multimedia Learning Program
This is a program to aid patients in getting the most out of their cognitive
therapy.
Follow the Program Synopsis link at the bottom of the page to go through
the basic features of the program. One technique involves clients keeping
a daily record of automatic thoughts. Keep a record of your automatic thoughts
for a few days. Did you find this task easy or difficult? What are some
ways in which cognitive therapy is different from behavioural therapy? 1 2 3
