Overview of Service

I am the Academic Director of the Undergraduate Research Initiative. This important office of undergraduate research supports the involvement of University of Alberta undergraduate students in research activities.

I Co-Chaired the Teaching Learning and Technology Councile subcommittee on social media. Our report has been accepted and our recommendations are being used to develop guidelines for social media use at the university of Alberta

I Chaired the General Faculties Council Committee on the Learning Environment Subcommittee on Teaching, Research, and Discovery Learning. Our report has become part of the 2011-2015 Academic Plan!

I am finishing up coordinating the Department of Psychology Instructional Technology and Resources Lab. Check out the great Resources we have developed (including the template for this ePortfolio, developed by Chris Goetz) and the Services we offer.

I also loosely organize the Alberta Teachers of Psychology. Check out AToP. Although this site hasn't been updated in a while, it does provide an overview of some of the work we have been doing.
