Yes, I would say the participants are appropriate for this study. They participated voluntarily and they were well informed.
I would have to think that the participants were acceptable. I do find it interesting that the number of each age group was not included; this could be for more anonymity of participants
I also think that the participants are appropriate. But I think that the numbers and ages of the participants should have been published. It would make it easier for others to duplicate the experiment and it might also show if the sample size was representative of the population.
