Course Weight: 20%
This is to be a short (i.e., 2-3 page, double spaced) paper in which the student critically reviews and assesses a scientific journal research article based on the principles of scientific theory, research methodology, and experimental design that will be discussed in the course.
The student is free to pick an article of their choice for this assignment. A good source of possible articles can be found in the reference list of the text book. Before the student begins writing the paper, show the selected article to the instructor to get his approval.
Typed papers are preferred, although handwritten papers will be accepted, providing they are neat.
