Costs of Laboratory Animals
For those of you who may be wondering, it does cost money to originally get the rats for this course and then to maintain them on a day-by-day basis. Here is some information on what the costs of animal purchase and maintenance are through University Animal Services. (Note: a few of these prices may be a bit out of date, as the sheet I'm taking the information from is a couple years old, but it will still provide the general idea of the costs involved.)
